First of all, before Porsche Boxster S Porsche Design Edition 2 and the Cayman S Sport, we had the Cayman S Porsche Design Edition 1 and the Boxster RS 60 Spyder special series. Due to the fact that Porsche sold all the units, the German manufacturer decided to enter the market with new special models based on the prize-winning Boxster S and Cayman S (if you didn’t know, find out that the Porsche Boxster won first prize in the readers’ choice of the German motor magazine “sport auto” in its class of the most sporting convertibles up to Euro 80,000).
The two new models, the Porsche Boxster S Porsche Design Edition 2 and the Cayman S Sport, which will be unveiled this week at the Paris Motor Show, are powered by the 3.4 liter, which now delivers 303 hp, with 8 hp more than the standard version (standard version has 295 hp).
