The Kempten-based company ABT, the famous Volkswagen customizer, has developed a visual package particularly intended for the Golf VI. The ABT Golf VI combines driving pleasure with eco-friendliness.
The vehicle features the 1.4 TSI, available in two states of expansion: the standard 122 hp (90 kW) become 160 hp (118 kW), and the more potent 200 hp (147 kW). Consequently, the small direct injection powerplant generates almost equal power to the 2.0 TSI, but utilizes less fuel. For the power-hungry enthusiast, however, the Allgäu company has also available a power package for the 2.0 FSI which originally generated 210 hp (154 kW) will now become 240 hp (176 kW). For the economically-minded driver, however, the wise alternative is the 2.0 TDI which has received a potent 170 hp (125 kW) from a standard of 140 hp (103 kW). With the potency comes the matching ABT spring or the sporty ABT threaded suspension. High-performance stopping power is provided with ABT braking systems and ABT sports braking systems.
