One of the most legendary names that manages to throw its weight around in the BMW community is Alpina. The first thought that comes to mind: radial-spoke, large diameter rims.There is something magic about the B7. And, no, it has nothing to do with the fact this is the closest we'll likely get to an M7. More so, the car has an heir of exclusivity that surpasses that of an Audi S8 or Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG.Alpina brings more of an aftermarket look and feel to the relatively conservative F01 7-series. This provides a bit of panache and gives the 7-series some flavor.It is kind of like having the choice between a filet mignon and a New York strip steak.
