Is it me or does this Suzuki Kizashi look like a VW Kizashi?

Agent63, the Kizashi is a D Segment car.

Not a bad car, Suzuki is tied with KIA in reliability in 9th place. They are getting better, they can stick around as people are looking for deals.

Though, this car without the right kit could get overshadowed by: Camry, Optima, Malibu, Fusion, and Jetta.

There is a potential if they bring out the hybrid this could be the first sedan in Hybrid with AWD as an option, but that most likely won't happen. I predict the new Ford Fusion will offer something like that.

All in all it's not a bad looking car. The SX4 has been a reliable small car for them and a decent seller, this may give them the sales to get more mainstream again in the US.

You can poke at the name, the looks and compare them to Kia. But I could see potential for this car as offering AWD is not something many companies are doing with sedans right now. At least not in this range aside from the Subaru Impreza. I know the Impreza would be a better buy for most, but not everyone loves a Subaru. However more and more people are turning towards AWD as an option. I am one of them.

The Swift and Kizashi are the types of Products Suzuki needs to sell in North America; for survival's sake.

They can call the Swift SX-3 if they are that uncomfortable about using that name.

Personally, I think either Suzukis should be given exotic Japanese names like Kizashi, or given a SX-3, SX-4, SX-5, SX-6, etc... nomenclature.

Maybe they should become a Near Luxury Company as well. Japan has way too many Econo Makes per capita.
