Autocar inteviewed BMW's M boss and his answer about AWD M cars was taken out of context. There will be no AWD M5, they develeoped a highly advanced rear differential for the new M5 that can handle all weather conditions as seen in the teaser videos when the m5 was driving in the snow covered alps. The only AWD M's will be the X-suv varients.

"But basically customers want All Wheel Drive and they want weight loss too, but you cant have one without the other.
But if you want xDrive there will be other choices to accompany the X5M and X6M , we are looking at a potential X1M."-scott26

What is the reliability of NA v. Turbo engines? Does anybody have numbers supporting the popular belief that turbo engines are less reliable or require more maintenance, everything else being equal?

Quizz, my E92 (335i) turbos failed after 30k miles. Good thing they were replaced under warranty. I sure would not be happy if they failed after the warranty expired.
