said the 2013 Buick Verano Turbo will start at $29,990 when it goes on sale this fall and get 31 miles per gallon on the highway.

The new luxury turbocharged sedan includes a destination charge of $885 and uses an Ecotec 2.0L four-cylinder engine with direct injection and continuously variable valve timing to produce 250 horsepower.

It comes as GM is adding more turbo engines to its Buick lineup.

The Verano will have a 0-60 mph acceleration in an estimated 6.2 seconds and EPA-estimated 20/31 mpg ratings with a six-speed manual transmission available.
