HERNDON, Va., June 25, 2014 – The 2014 Audi A5 and Audi Q7 have been honored as 2014 Best Retained Value® vehicles by Edmunds.com in the luxury midsize convertible and luxury large SUV categories. The awards highlight vehicles that have the highest projected private party residual value five years after their launch.

“Audi is proud to be honored in the 2014 Edmunds.com Best Retained Value awards,” said Mark Del Rosso, executive vice president and chief operating officer, Audi of America. “These awards are a reflection of the quality of the A5 and Q7 models – two top-performing vehicles that have proven they can more than stand the test of time.”

The model-level awards are based on a computation, for each qualifying model, of: (i) the average cash TMV® price over the first five months (if available; minimum of three months) for such model, and (ii) the average projected five-year depreciation computed for each of the first twelve months after the launch of such model.
