Once and a while you hear truly remarkable stories about an ultra rare vehicle being found locked away in storage. Unfortunately, this happens more than one would think. These high-end cars get locked away and it seems that either people forget about them or life just gets too crazy.

It seems like a case of the latter in this instance.

That's because over 100 cars were found in France that were part of a prominent Frenchman's collection. Of the 100, only 60 are in good enough condition to sell and ship off. This is what happens when they've been left hanging around for years without any maintenance or being driven.

This means these vehicles are a dream for purists seeking super original rides without any changes from the day they left the showroom floor.

If you're packing some serious dollars and want to snap up one of these rides, you better get your butt to the Artcurial sale in Paris come February 6. That's where the autos will be getting sold.

Discovered only three months ago, the collection is being auctioned at the Artcurial sale in Paris on February 6 during the annual Retromobile classic car show and represents perhaps the last opportunity for collectors to acquire and restore some of the finest cars from the 1930s, 40s and 50s...
