There's no question about it. I know I am going to receive comments like "Who cares," or "00R, we don't care about paint."
You know what though, a helluva lot of people do. And if you're going to plop down some serious coin on a vehicle, you would too.
That said, onward!
Though we've seen a couple of "Frozen" colors from BMW's individual catalog, there's one that we hadn't seen. Until now, that is. It's called Frozen Dark Blue.
Although I have never disclosed which color strikes my heart, I am definitely weakened by anything of the dark blue or purple persuasion. Take, for example, the E46 330Ci I used to drive. It was a gorgeous Orient Blue/Sand example.
From what I can see on this E92 M3, this Frozen Dark Blue metallic seems to be the closest thing to an Orient Blue matte job. But, it doesn't seem to have that "pop" that makes matte cars seems special. If anything, it sadly hides the lines, which usually give the vehicle a muscular look when it is say in Frozen Gray or Frozen Polar Silver.
What say you, Spies? Two thumbs up or two thumbs to who cares?
