A New Sheriff In Town? Cadillac ATS Outscores Both The BMW 3-Series AND Infiniti G37

Confused as they like the handling of the BMw better, it is larger in trunk and back seat, yet the cadillac wins?

I cannot believe how expensive cars in this class have become. $55k for the 335i, $48k for the ATS?

The cadillac has a trunk space of 10.2 cu ft. It is smaller than the 3-series in the rear seats. The 328i sedan is only a couple tenths slower than the largest v6 offered by Cadillac. For $48k, why not just get the fully loaded 328i sedan?

Way to go autospies... Because buyers of these cars really really care what Totalcarscore.com has to say. One thing I did find interesting was that they loaded up the BMW test car with 13K of options and say its too pricey...

We'll, there is a way around that...

I don't think so. The BMW 335i and G37 coupe/sedan still more fun and faster than this new Cadillac.

If they are comparing this vehicle to a BMW and Infiniti that are near the end of their respective life cycles, then those numbers don't matter.

Let's see how well this Cadillac holds up after those cars are introduced.

I also notice Cadillac is milking the Infiniti concept coupe's interior for all its worth.

Anytime an article begins with its conclusion and states comparison facts like "around 5.4 seconds" is written from the winning car's PR department.

Why would anyone post this article is beyond me, . . . perhaps they also work in GM's PR division.

Just to be favourably compared to a BMW 3er and G37 is pretty gawd-damned good for a 1st gen ATS, so good on the guys at Caddy.
If they had a vert model of the ATS, I'd definitely buy it.

When they criticized the BMW's shifter I knew these people at total score obviously were not knowledgeable, true car enthusiasts. BMW has always been known for having an excellent shifter. I wil say that Caddy has certainly made a more than worthy competitor for the 3 series though so kudos to them.
