At this year's 2015 Detroit Auto Show (NAIAS) General Motors made a fuss over the launch of the all-new 2016 Chevrolet Volt. There's just one problem: it didn't make much of a splash.

In our opinion, the Bolt made a much more significant impression, as did the all-new Buick Avenir with its Bentley Flying Spur-inspired looks.

But, unlike those other two products, the 2016 Volt is real and productionalized. It will be seeing the light of day at a dealer near you. So, the show must go on.

The first advertisement for the all-new Volt serves as a chance for the company to familiarize potential buyers with an all-new, green product. As you can see in the clip below there's plenty of glamor shots and interior pans that show the instrument cluster and infotainment system in use. There's even an exterior driving shot that seems to hint this car will be FUN to drive.

That said, I wanted to touch base with the Spies and see if YOU find this spot to be a STUD or DUD in our new Ad Meter series. Let us know if the all-new, 2016 Chevrolet Volt's first campaign left you wanting more or if it's dead on arrival.

Explore the all-new 2016 Volt in motion. Every detail has been carefully considered, from its brilliant design to the unrivaled technology throughout. Which means whether you are navigating your route to work or your next adventure, day or night, electric or gas, you can expect an innovative drive that allows you to travel 1,000 miles between fill-ups, on average.

Did the all-new Bolt overshadow the Volt EVEN IF we have NO idea when it will become real?
