Beginning in June, the Bentley cars in the Continental range (sedan, coupe and convertible) will be offered as flex-fuel-only vehicles. At the Geneva Motor Show, Bentley announced its plan to reduce its CO2 fleet emissions by 15% by 2012.

The flex-fuel version of Bentley’s 6.0-liter W-12 engine will be used in all the cars on the range. Moreover, it will be the only engine offered on the range. The engine is able to run on gasoline, E85 bioethanol or any mix of the two fuels from one fuel tank. At Geneva, Bentley unveiled the new 2011 Continental Supersports Convertible, which is claimed to be the fastest open-top car the brand has ever produced.
