If you're an Apple fan, then you are in heaven today becuase it is day one of the WWDC (World Wide Developers Conference).
Just minutes ago at Moscone Center in San Francisco, Apple announced turn by turn navigation capabilities for the iPhone and demoed a Tom Tom app showing it off.
The Spies have a history of making some pretty long term predictions and being right so if you are a Garmin employee or wok for another nav company, you're NOT gonna like this one.
Within 5 years, factory nav in cars will be a thing of the past as manufacturers will only supply an in car screen that connects to WHATEVER smart device you have (most likely something from Apple).
When you buy a car, it will have a screen that has limited car capabilities but once you plug in your device your system will come alive with as many cool features as the device will support.
Including, SYNC + style features.
We're not financial advisors but if you own those stocks (Garmin, etc.) I'd think about getting out as fast as you can.
