Audi achieved its best-ever September sales in the U.S. to mark its 57th consecutive monthly sales record. The previous September record was set in 2014 with 14,917 Audi vehicles sold. Through the first nine months of 2015, Audi U.S. sales rose 12.5% from last year to 147,403 vehicles.

Third-quarter U.S. sales for Audi rose 15.3% from last year, with the Audi SUV models posting a 50.0% increase and Audi A3 models posting a 30.8% increase.

September results were bolstered by sales of Audi luxury SUVs, with a 44.3% increase for the Audi Q3, Q5 and Q7 models combined. The Q5 posted a 58.9% increase from last year, marking its best-ever sales month in the U.S. The Q7 posted a 42.2% increase from last September, and the Q3 posted a 3.5% increase over last year.

“As we head into the fourth quarter, we are confident that our sales momentum across the Audi product lineup will result in a strong finish to the year,” said Mark Del Rosso, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Audi of America. “Throughout local communities across America, we are grateful that our Audi retailers continue to deliver our stunning vehicles at record levels to customers and their service is clearly leading to customer loyalty that is quickly becoming the envy of the industry.”

In just its second month in the market, the all-new Audi TT posted a 345.2% sales increase from last year.

The A3 model line achieved robust sales in September 2015. The compact premium models achieved a 15.9% increase over year-earlier sales. The Audi A6 and A7 models also performed well, with year-over-year increases of 13.4% and 6.5%, respectively.

Audi Certified pre-owned vehicle sales set a new September record, with a 1.5% gain on 3,923 CPO vehicles sold. CPO sales year-to-date have increased 6.4%.
