Audi of America, Inc. announced today sales for the month of April totaling 7,730, a decrease of 4.6% from last year’s record figures. Audi Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) sales continued their record-setting trend; compared with last year’s April figures, CPO sales rose to 3,175 units, an increase of 56.4%.

“Nearly 11,000 consumers chose to buy an Audi in April,” said Johan de Nysschen, executive vice president, Audi of America. “Combined new vehicle and pre-owned sales point to a powerful endorsement of our brand in a tough market.”

To date, Audi has sold 28,286 vehicles in 2008, a 2.9% decrease over the previous year; CPO sales for 2008 total 12,084, an increase of 46.4% over 2007.
