No info about the A6, confirms that they will be getting the refresh/new V6.

A6 is being built as a 2008 until October. November production will be for the refreshed 09 A6 with the new tail lights and other stuff, but also with the NEW Supercharged V6.
Car should be unveiled in Paris this fall at the Auto show.

that's what I thought, it's just interesting that Audi didn't say "facelifted A6 coming for 2009"

well audi reimburse buyers when their cars burst into flames like they do on the Nurmring?

are you confusing it with the 3-series that caught fire when tested against the IS350?

Kraut_god for the 3rd time lighten up a little. Why are you hating on everything? Mom didn't buy your toy car at Toys R' Us?

WOW...40,750 for a base A4! Its trying to make a statement. A Merc C starts at 32k. Fully loaded Acura Type-S is 38k. I think the price is going to go against them, atleast its out of my list now.

that was for the convertible. But I am pretty surprised they start that high. Are those U.S. prices? That's right at what a hardtop 3-Series convertible starts at for both the 2.0T and the 3.2. The 3.2 is especially interesting for that, it's the same as a 335i Convertible.

bulldogzbulldogz - 7/22/2008 11:47:49 AM
+1 BoostDrop the Boost Up the Boost
well hopefully, the new engine that is rumored to be around 330hp won't jack up the price that much when it goes into the next cabrio around 09' or 10'.

Otherwise you will have to choose whether you want a hardtop or AWD in your convertible.

A3 2.0 quattro should've been kept below 30K, at least for intro appeal. It'll be interesting to see where A4 Avant starts at...

It appears that the S4 will be made available at about the same time as the regular A4. Which means that the S4 will be available when the lease on my current car expires. Yeeha!!

S4cabrio - join the celebration!

I read the original press release. Cancel the parade!

OOJ reformatted the press release, which caused me to misinterpret the data. The "A4" and "S4" mentioned in the press release is the current B7-body cabriolet, NOT the upcoming new B8 sedan or wagon! Damn!

The S5 was never $59k base in the U.S. I think those prices are the exact same as 2008.
