The smooth clutch is also just another reason why it has persisted to dominate, despite a significantly higher price which almost cost it the win.
2nd Place: BMW 335i

Here is a solid second-place victory. The 335i is a strong, reasonably economic automobile paired with a beautiful bass-sounding engine. And there's excellent handling to be had on the dry road in case you don't live in an alpine region. That makes this classic hot-rod 3-series the complete package - and at significantly lower cost too.
