Italy's Industry Ministry confirmed that talks continued with potential buyers of the De Tomaso sportscar brand including BMW, a trade union said in a statement on Thursday.

The ministry aims to start a sale process by mid-October.

Representatives from the ministry, the unions and the local governments of the Piedmont region and the city of Grugliasco met on Thursday in Rome, the union said.

Nope, not interested. But I would love to see BMW buy out Aston Martin completely and use their new twin turbo engine V8 in all of the Aston Martin lineup. That would be Crazy if it actually happen.

Seriously, Toyota should consider buying the Aston Martin brand completely and use their V10 in the Lexus LF-A for the top of the line Aston Martin lineup. And the give the Aston Martin V8 Vantage the V8 from the Lexus IS-F but give it more horsepower, torques and make it lighter as well.

Can't a guy day dream on a Friday afternoon? ; ) LOL
