With they economy tanking and the competition from companies like Audi and Mercedes-Benz, BMW now extended their maintenance program to 6 Years or 100,000 miles. BMW of North America said that all of its models are eligible for a purchase of the 6 year/100,000 mile maintenance extension. The catch? You have to pay for it…

Depending on the model, the cost for the extension ranges from $1,395 to $2,995. BMW vehicle owners can purchase the two-year Maintenance Program extension from an authorized BMW Center during the first four years after the vehicle’s in-service date or 50,000 total miles, whichever comes first.
