Putting the whole Nurburging lap time reliability debate to one side for a moment, German publication Sport Auto has revealed the new turbocharged M4 Coupe posted a time of 7m 52s at the Ring. That’s a full 13 seconds quicker than the V8-powered M3 Coupe that only managed 8m 05s. The M4 in question was running with a dual-clutch transmission, ceramic brakes and sticky Michelin Pilot Supersport tires, and its time around the 12.8-mile course bested that of the Audi RS5 Coupe (7m 59s) and Mercedes C63 AMG (8m 01s).
