By suprise Jaguar showed off their brand new Jaguar XF-R model at the Goodwood hillclimb today.
Not many people seemed to have noticed it but it’s clearly the new R model with Jaguar’s supercharged 5.0-liter V8 under the bonnet. The 500 hp XF-R has had adjustments to the suspension and brakes to match the increased power and sportivity of the XF-R. Optically we see the new 20? inch all-black wheels, black front grill and new hood with two double air vents.
This unexpected appearance of a ‘production ready’ XF-R at Goodwood Festival of Speed could hint at an official introduction at the London Motorshow later this month. More pictures of the first day at Goodwood Festival of Speed can be found here.
