Bmw X5 M and X6 M teased ahead their debut

It depends on how much of a hater you are. Lot's of people whine about Lexus ES being a Camry with more standard stuff and higher price meanwhile failing to accept Audi A3 is a VW Golf with NO more standard stuff and higher price.

By the way:

1. WTF is this "teaser" about? It's just a port container! It may well have bird turd with SARS from Vietnam in it.

2. Some time in the past M division made cars that:
- were lightweight and light on their feet
- were rear wheel drive
- had high revving naturally aspirated engines

RS department then went on with cars that:
- were heavy and heavy on their feet
- were all wheel drive
- had forced induction engines with lower rev limiter

Now though, the obese X5-M and X6-M:
- are massively heavy and even fatter on their feet
- are all wheel drive
- have a forced induction engine with lower rev limiter

So BMW is admitting that blokes from Ingolstadt and Neckarsulm (where quattro Gmbh is located) are smarter and were simply right.

Good to realize this.

that has to be the most rediculous logic Ive ever seen. lol you are seriously suggesting that BMW is copying Audi by developing a high performance suv with all wheel drive. Thats just stupid, if the M3, M5, and M6 get all wheel drive that would show they are giving up on rear wheel drive M cars but making an M version of a car that is only available with all wheel drive isnt. If they were so much smarter they would start with a rear wheel drive platform instead of continuing to be front wheel drive, and calling themselves performance cars

If the Luxury version is based on the same platform as the main-stream version, then yes. Ie. ES = Camry, RX = Highlander, LX= landcruiser, GX = 4runner etc

down to eart, it seems to me that you do not know much about cars from the past. BMW made 2002 turbo in the 70´s actually 1973, and the 745 also with turbo made from 1979.BMW also made diesel cars in the 80´s with turbos, so it not new to BMW. They have waited to now so they could make cars without the turbo lag.
all wheel drive seems to be a god decision, since these power cars (M)get more and more power, and to prevent wheelspin it needs four wheel drive.
But from that i dont se the world need SUVs as M models, or AMG og like Audi with 12 cylinders diesel.

They do this for publicity stunts, like Jay-Z saying his new album is his last one and then makes another one down the line. Rolls Royce also said they would never make a convertible which they now have.

AutoBild say this will be a twin-turbo V8 for sure. 550HP, 2.3 tonnes. They speculate about the Nürburgring laptime being at the level of E46 M3.

why? I keep hearing people say that, and I just don't understand this line of thinking. Why isn't BMW allowed to have high performance models of their full lineup? Mercedes is allowed to have ML63's, G-class AMG's, and S63 and S65's, right? Porsche has not only a Cayenne Turbo but a Turbo S. Even Range Rover... RANGE ROVER... has a supercharged sport version. Again, RANGE ROVER. Does that really fit with the old image of Range Rover? Hell no, but they did it and people bought them, just like they did the Porsche's and Benz's. So why shouldn't BMW get a piece of that pie exactly? Why should a company who built their reputation on building performance oriented machines cede an entire market of even higher performance models to other brands? Because it's "not true to their heritage"? Give me a break. It's business, period. You make what people will buy. People will buy these, just like they buy the Benz, Porsche, and Rover models.
