When you live on the most accident-prone street in the U.K., insurance companies will do just about anything to try to keep you from making a claim. Seriously.
Oh-kay, oh-kay, I kid, I kid.
But you know those quirky Brits with their humor. In a brilliant public relations stunt, a British automotive insurance firm managed to wrap up the street after 12 hours of what looks like tedious work...
The Daily Mail reports:
"The most accident-prone street in Britain has been given the ultimate safety blanket - 1,500 sq metres of bubble wrap.
Cars, gates, bins, lamp posts and even garden gnomes were wrapped in the cushioning film to highlight the dangers of driving in winter.
According to a car insurance comparison website, homes in Somerville Road, Worcester, generate the highest number of accident claims in the whole of the UK..."
