If I were to show you the Aston Martin V12 Vantage S and the Porsche 911 Turbo S on paper, I think most people would immediately go for the Porsche. Why, you ask? Well, to cut to the chase it's faster.

A lot faster.

Equipped with the world famous PDK dual-clutch gearbox, an all-wheel drivetrain and some of the latest technological wizardry, the 911 is a perfect example of the latest piece of supercar hardware.

The Aston? Well, it's more of a supercar shaped around ideals from yesteryear that just so happens to be on the market today. It has a whacking great V12, a Graziano transmission that requires the driver to feather the throttle for it to operate smoothly and it's, overall, not nearly as refined and up-to-date as the Porsche.
