When you think of supercars, it's hard to think who's the best competitors. That's because there's so many ways to slice and dice the vehicles. It's endless these days.

But few have been doing it like Ferrari and Porsche. Both automakers are pushing the limits of what's capable and the legendary Italian automaker has just started turbocharging its product portfolio. First it was the California T and now it's the mid-engine 488 GTB.

Porsche, on the other hand, has always been a fan of turbocharging and all-wheel drive. However, it's tough to think of a tougher benchmark for the Ferrari to chase after. Consider this: The Porsche is the choice most go for when it comes to speed-to-value as daily driving duty.

So, which of the two is better? The 911 Turbo S or the 488 GTB?

Well, only one way to find out as Auto Express gets two of its staff members together to dish it out on BOTH vehicles.

The Ferrari 488 GTB is the first turbocharged, mid-engine Ferrari since the legendary F40 in the 80's. That is a lot of pressure for a new supercar to live up to, but the Fezzer shone through in our first drive in Italy.

So, what else could we do but pit it against the incredibly fast Porsche 911 Turbo S? The Ferrari might be less practical and more expensive, but its performance can easily give the 911 a run for its money!
