The 2019 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) has grown in its significance to the automotive industry. Not only has it been reflected over the past two days but Mercedes-Benz decided to really underscore that this year.

That's because Mercedes unveiled the all-new CLA-Class at CES. Keep in mind the CLA is not a hybrid or full electric vehicle. It's just a basic, entry-level luxury vehicle with four doors.

That should tell you something about CES as an event as well as who the three-pointed star is targeting to buy its second-gen CLA.

Having said that, I wanted to share with you the very first real-life pictures of the all-new, 2020 CLA. The show car was painted a rather bright red, which is a bold choice for the German manufacturer.

This differs from the show car that was snapped in studio images. That car was dubbed the Edition and according to what we're hearing we won't receive that special edition CLA in the U.S. market. That's probably a good thing because those orange accents are pretty damn cheesy.

So, what say you, Spies? Now that you're getting a look at the 2020 CLA in these real-life pictures, do YOU think it's a STUD or DUD?
