According to numbers compiled by Hyundai, there are two manufacturers that are starting to get beaten up by the Koreans in 2011. While other conquer figures have remained flat, Chevrolet and Nissan are both getting whacked when it comes to customer inflow.
To me it is a bit peculiar that Chevrolet owners would go right to Hyundai since the Cruze is a pretty good car -- with exception of its bland exterior design and higher price point. Nissan, on the other hand, makes a little more sense since it is an import brand and the Versa is starting to show its age, as is the Sentra. What other cars could owners be turning their backs on?
Can anyone put down some thoughts as to why Chevrolet and Nissan owners are jumping ship for Hyundai?
