Chevrolet acknowledged the inevitable Monday — a convertible of the 2016 Camaro is on the way.

"One of these days we may add this beautiful looking convertible," said Al Oppenheiser, chief engineer for the sixth generation of the classic muscle car, at a dinner Monday evening at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit.
