It was only the other day we got our first look at funnyman Jay Leno behind the wheel of the all-new, production Porsche 918 Spyder. It's a big moment as no one else has had the chance to drive the production-ready vehicle.

Well, it seems that Jay Leno has topped every one once again. That's because he is now the first person outside of McLaren to pilot the all-new P1 supercar. This is the vehicle the succeeds what is arguably the greatest supercar, ever. That would be the McLaren F1.

Turns out that Leno lets the cat out of the bag that he has purchased one of the 375 P1s on sale. And, in good taste, he's spec'd it out in Papaya Orange, the traditional McLaren color. Well done, Jay.

It's clear that Leno stops by the Woking headquarters of the growing automaker and takes the P1 for a lap around the Top Gear test track.

Judging by the smile and general look of complete awe, we think it's safe to say that Leno's pretty happy with his latest acquisition. He just needs it to be built and shipped across the pond so it can join his F1!
