As previously mentioned here, I know that Consumer Reports catches a lot of flack from the Spies.

Some say it should stick to reviewing toasters.

I’ve got to say though, for the most part, this team is on the money with many of my findings. In addition, you have to remember that this publication is speaking for the majority of buyers that aren’t enthusiasts.

Its opinion holds water for MANY shoppers.

That said, I knew when it reviewed the all-new Genesis G70 that we’d have to post something up. That’s because after Agent 001 and I spent more time around the G70 at the 2018 New York Auto Show, we were a bit perplexed.

Mostly because I was lukewarm on the G70 while 001 was not having it at all. From the exterior styling to the interior appointments, there’s some good and some bad. Ultimately though, we’re a bit curious: How does it drive?

In this clip, Consumer Reports gets some wheel time with the all-new G70 and weighs in on what it’s really like.
