A couple weeks ago cruising through Orange County I saw the new 2013 Dodge Dart in the best color I had seen yet, the new Header Orange clear coat.

It just looks awesome in person, especially with the rear LED strip.

When you are car crazy like the Agents, even if you own a dream car you're still always out scoping dealer lots and checking out the latest arrivals.

So as I was cruising this afternoon I saw one on a dealer lot and I had to get some pics and see it up close.

Little did I know, I was about to get a major surprise.

As I was admiring the car (hands down the best looking car in its segment) my eyes locked on a shocking sight.

Next to the window sticker of the Dart, there was a dealer addendum sticker (we always refer to it as the STUPID tax) adding almost THREE GRAND to the price of the DART!!!

WHAT?

You have GOT to be kidding me.

We know dealers have the right to charge whatever they want but c'mon man.

IT'S A DART NOT AN M3!

If you ask us it is a REALLY dumbass way to turn off customers on a car that really needs to sell in high volumes.

Chime in and let us know your thoughts.

Are you as freaked out as us that a dealer would add $3k to the sticker price of a Dodge Dart in today's market?

And would you ever pay that premium to own one?

Dealers Selling Dodge DART'S With The Rallye Package For THREE GRAND OVER MSRP? Really?
