Looking extremely mean and serious, the Honda NSX has come out from hiding. The only problem is that no one will be able to drive it.

This is the biggest tease known to man, essentially.

But knowing that the NSX was THAT close to being reborn, and from what it looks like now, in an incredibly sexy package, you have to wonder if this could have ended the LF-A hype. Although the Lexus is more of an engineering exercise, it would have been cool to see the NSX destroy it.

Hopefully, after racing the car, Honda will decide to produce some of the long-awaited NSX's. If they have come this far, there cannot be too much left in the development process, right?

MotorAuthority reports some known details:

"Renamed the HSV-10 GT, the race car is said to be packing a 3.4-liter V-8 engine development more than 500 horsepower. Power is sent rearward via a Ricardo sequential manual gearbox that will also be adopted by Nissan’s and Toyota’s race cars in the series..."
