GMInsideNews reports that General Motors is considering a Premium Zeta-based Buick flagship for North America that will rival the Lexus LS.

Last June, GMI clarified rumors about the status of a Cadillac flagship sedan, revealing that Cadillac is considering a Premium Zeta-based sedan to be its flagship sedan. The latest GMI report states that the GM board of directors recently approved preliminary design work for the Buick flagship sedan. But unlike the Cadillac sedan, the Buick sedan doesn’t have the green light for production yet. So far, it has gotten the approval for management and product development with limited resources.
