penn: you want to brag? ok lets compare. I have an LS460 07, S550 07, and an R8 4.2. TRUTH IS I CAN'T EVEN AFFORD THE NEW FERRARI 458 ITALIA. Mind you I am working very hard to get my toys but unless you are worth 5,7-10 million you are not likely to own anything above 200K. Or at least if you were a modest person.— Agent63 (View Profile)

It doesn't matter if you can afford one, the trick is to get a Ferrari dealer to actually sell you a new car. You want the new 458 Ferrari? First you gotta buy a few used ones at exorbitant prices, then they might put you on the 2 year waiting list but only if you guarantee in writing that you will sell the new car back to the dealer when you're though with it (and you better keep the mileage below 1500 miles) so they can continue their automotive version of the Ponzi scheme. Its kinda like a cartel. But, in the U.S. you will never walk into Ferrari dealer as a new customer with $300,000 in your pocket and get a new Ferrari. They may put you on the 4 year wait list if you know the owner or have snapshots of him making out with David Letterman (ewww)— pcar4evr (View Profile)

Seems Ferrari again sets the new standard for MR cars. Traction control is especially impressive. Now, 562 hp and 9000 rpm redline can probably get you 7:35 on Nord if ENZO's 660hp/8000 rpm runs 7:25?— dlin (View Profile)

Wow, looks better on video than in photos. Color me impressed. Any one else think that it looked a bit.... small?@dlinNord times aren't all about power/weight ratios. A lot of it has to do with where the engine is, how the chasis is setup, gearbox, etc. The GT-R's time around the ring compared to a GT3 RS's time around the ring is a good example. 7:26 vs 7:33.— GreenPlease (View Profile)

Not sure where your response is from..... Did I mention power/weight ratio? Did I compare MR to FR? Guess not.Do you understand why I listed redline rpm? I'll plus you one if you can answer correctly.— dlin (View Profile)

Great video. Awesome performance. But not a pretty car, to my eyes. Weird headlights. Cumbersome rear end. I much prefer the F430 Spyder's styling. A lot. But hey, whatever floats your boat :-)— Steve (View Profile)

This car is technically amazing..But in red, it is really not that nice looking. I played around with the configurator the other day and quickly figured out that darker colours instantly make this car into an incredibly beautiful beast. Try the gray colours or black colours and anyone will see the difference. It is sad though, cause Ferrari's should by nature look good in red.— theman (View Profile)

Yup. Go to the 1950-60s colour section and try the Blu Scozia. It's lovely with beige interior.— theman (View Profile)
