It's sort of hard to believe that the Hollywood franchise, the Fast & Furious, will continue without Paul Walker. But, it will be. Considering the significant success of the seventh installment, it makes a strong business case for itself.
For a bit of time now we've been aware of the next installment Fast & Furious 8 but it appears some more information is coming to light.
When I say information, I am using the term loosely.
Vin Diesel, one of the major stars behind the picture, has posted on his Instagram account an image making it very clear that Fast & Furious 8 will release in theaters come April 2017. This is the start of a hype cycle that we're sure will swell into the spring, summer, fall and lead into 2017.
One more thing: It doesn't take a rocket scientist to piece together that there's a good chance this flick will take place in New York City. Not only is the background image that of Manhattan island, there's also a new tag line stating "New roads ahead."
