Ferrari is increasing its efforts for teams to be permitted to run three cars in Formula One next year. Although Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo was “very disappointed” that Michael Schumacher won’t be able to race this year, he said that he’s anticipating that Schumacher will be able to do so next year. Di Montezemolo said in La Stampa, “I prefer three McLaren and three Renault to three ‘whatevers.’ With BMW gone, there’s not much to say but lots to do.”
