First Info And Shots Of The Next Porsche 911-Front Spoiler A Key New Feature?
‘There is no more need for old-fashioned protruding door mirrors, the pending pedpro [pedestrian protection] requirements will force us to make relatively obvious alterations to the nose of the car, and for aerodynamic reasons we are also going to reshape the rear end.
'But apart from these must-dos, we won't tamper with the proportions of a true classic.’ In other words, you'll never mistake a 911 for anything else.

At least the article about the IS-F power operated windows was very informative. Damn, those power windows are the best in class hands down! I wonder what Consumer Reports will say about them!

I think the Cayman has won me over in terms of how it looks. It's clearly better looking than a Boxster and has the iconic shape of an 911 but for the obvious difference in price tag. I think for the Cayman S (which is the only Cayman worth buying) is a great car. I had the chance to test drive one and it sounded nice and a look that only a Porsche fan would appreciate.

Although I love the Porsches but they need some slight update to make them scream louder, I'm a monster!
They can start by changing the outdated interior; make it nice like the Japanese interiors are. Then shorten the front bumper, it makes the nose just too long and kind of odd.

Active aero should actually make a big difference and help meet euro 5 targets/u.s. cafe requirements.
An adjustable spoiler on the front, rear trunk, and on the underside of the rear could alter themselves on the fly to either make the car very aerodynamic, have a lot of downforce, decelerate the car, or some sort of combination.
Further, if the car has ultrasonic distance sensors and it detects a crash is imenent, it could extend the fron spoiler as far out as possible to help absorb some of the impact of the crash.

This sketch on this page is a year old. Nothing new there. It would be nice to see the 911 evolve into a mid-rear engine to improve the balance on the car and make it competitive with super cars of the future. I think they have lost a step lately to the new breed of super cars.
