Like a fine piece of art or a perfectly cooked stake, the 2010 Nissan GT-R SpecV is one of those cars that shouldn’t be fiddled with and just accepted as one of the best examples of automotive engineering on sale today.



With more than 478hp (356kW) and 430lb-ft (580Nm) on tap and a kerb weight sliding just under 1,600kg, few would deem the car lacking in the performance department.

Okay, that looks like the garage out the average joe, not a reputable tuner...where the GT-R is put togheter is cleaner than that.

The things people do, just to have more power.

Most NAIVE post ever.

In Japan many Tuner don't have access to large acres of land like we do here. They have to make do with what they have. Most probably pay more on rent for what you see in the pict above than many super clean shops over here.

The GTR, including NSX, Supra etc were made with tuners in mind, and that was why the gentlemen agreement to limit the power to 286bhp previously.

But now they want to move up to the next level in the league of supercars like ferrari, porsche, maser etc.
You don't much tuned version of these and that is what they're going for.

You only tune "affordable" performance car...

The GT-R is a flop. You can't convince someone who can afford a $80,000-$140,000 sports car to get one over a 911/SL/R8. The only people who care about the GT-R are teenage kids and die hard tuners, and 98% of them can't obtain one. They should strip the car down so it can be priced with the C6 Corvette.
