The creation of the long experimented Fuoss 01 has come to an end and by next year the new lightweight trackcar for daily drive will be available on the market. The bad news is that if you wish a piece of the funny vehicle you have to move fast, in 2009 it will only be produced in a very limited edition of just 10 pieces.
Developed as a weight saving vehicle with no roof and a special frame built for safety guarantee, the new Fuoss 01 is powered by a a 400cc mid-positioned Suzuki DOHC motor capable of 43HP with a top speed of 145km/h. The one-seat trackcar features a 5-speed sequential gearbox and lightweight alloy wheels and assures a fuel consumption of 5L/100km. The vehicle will sure keep the maintenance costs low, the road tax and insurance costs will also be significantly reduced but still, do you think the price of €29,000 ($37,548) justifiable?
