In my personal opinion, there is no better Porsche than a hardcore one. For many the GT3 will suffice, but for those who really like to push the envelope and want to do their best 911 Cup car impression on civilian streets, well, then the all-new GT3 RS is right up your alley.
Equipped with a 4.0-liter six-cylinder motor good for 500 horsepower is only the start. There's SO much to geek out about it's not even funny. Please see the link to the press release, below.

The REAL reason why this may be the best Porsche of the 991 generation to debut is because it is likely to be the top range, naturally aspirated motor. Rumors are abound that all the 911s — with exception of the GT3 and GT3 RS — in the upcoming refresh will go forced induction.
While I find the 911 Turbo and Turbo S shockingly fast, the problem is there is just something missing that can't be replicated in the naturally aspirated cars, like the Carrera S or newly released Carrera GTS. Also, I have a thing for simple cars. I mean, c'mon, how can you NOT fall in love with the nylon door pulls?
