Volvo's high-performance division, Polestar, is showing us something new. Well, kind of.

Set to debut at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show (GIMS) will be an all-new Polestar. Something we haven't seen the likes of previously.

And here's the good news: It won't cost six figures. In fact, the pricing is going to be very reasonable. Somewhere in the $45,000-55,000 range, in fact.

Some more details released via an employee: It will be all electric with a full charge taking it about 300 miles, it will have a four-door, fastback body and sticker at the Model 3 price point.

Dubbed the Polestar 2, it's pretty clear that Volvo is taking dead aim at Tesla's Model 3. As far as we can tell, this may be the first real competitor against the Model 3. While others have tried, neither deliver the sophistication and design of the current entry-level Tesla.

Having said that, Spies, what do YOU think the Polestar 2 NEEDS to SUCCEED?
