General Motors Co.

chairman and CEO Dan Akerson criticized recent leaks of sensitive company information, and urged employees to act with integrity during a meeting and conference call with employees today.

"It's unfortunate when those among us don't live up to those standards," Akerson said during a long-scheduled meeting and video conference call with employees Thursday morning; The Detroit News was given access to a recording of the call.

He noted that GM has 200,000 employees.

Wrong, Apple invented... what? The smart phone? Nokia started that many many years before that, when they made a phone that ran Linux. OH, that's what Mac runs now!

And the iPad? Microsoft's debut of the tablet was in 2002 or something like that.

So really, all Apple is doing is copying others. Sounds pretty similar to GM to me. lol

I can only think of four "secrets" GM may have that would be worth protecting:

1. If and when will the next Corvette become mid-engined

2. What GM brand is next on the chopping block

3. What will be the car that they use to try to steal all the Police, Taxi and government vehicle sales

4. When will they get off their ass and design an all-electric and a hybrid car that not only suits the American family, but one that the American family will want to own and drive.

Apple improved alot of firsts like the tablet and smart phone. Had we had support tablets such as app store, the Microsoft tablet would have took off, but at the time it was ahead of its time and there was really no infrastructure like there is now. Guess GM is worried about the competition finding out where they get their cheap plastic and stealing their methods to making cheap plastic interior with still visible mold lines. I seriously can't think of any car maker that could benefit from anything GM is hiding.
