You know, one thing that has 001 and I mystified is "What will the new Buick Regal be competing against?" Although the company thinks that it squares up against the Acura TSX it seems to be off base, at least to 001, who is experience everything that is regal about the new uhm...er...Regal.
The big cheese, 001, thinks that the dark horse is actually the all-new Hyundai Sonata. And, if you haven't been paying attention, that is some stiff competition.
But if the base models are not your flavor, do not get bent out of shape because Buick's taking it back. Yup. The GS has been officially given the green light as of several days ago.
Knowing this, we have to be realistic and understand that most buyers will not cross shop a $35,000 -- estimated -- Buick with a TSX or Sonata for that matter. Most likely they would look at another General Motors product, the Cadillac CTS.
With that said, does the CTS stand up to the armed to the teeth GS?
Those Recaros are looking pretty good, if GM can get them past the US Department of Transportation....
