After building more than a thousand units of four-wheeled VelociRaptor modified Raptor trucks in the past years, Hennessey Performance Engineering (HPE) unveiled the VelociRaptor 6X6 Concept in 2016. Nearly a year after, the company completed the final version and teased the Hennessey VelociRaptor 6X6 at the 2017 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas.
The new Hennessey VelociRaptor 6X6 is basically a Raptor -- in particular a Ford Raptor truck – a transformed six-wheel drive off-road vehicle with more than 600 horsepower of output. HPE aimed to refine the VelociRaptor 6X6 and turn it from being just a concept to a full production unit.
