So, let me level with you, Spies. I never was a Chevrolet Corvette fan.

Everything about the C5 and C6 Corvettes was bootleg, soup to nuts. But, there's one very important thing the car had going for it. It was fun as hell to drive.

So when the all-new C7 dropped I was curious. That's because for the first time it looked like General Motors actually assembled a great product team to deliver something amazing. And, boy, the C7 is probably the best Chevrolet ever made. If you're looking for a fun vehicle with rear-wheel drive and V8 power, it's pretty hard to pass up on the Corvette. It's that good.

If the standard model wasn't enough the next step up was the Grand Sport. For many that's not even enough differentiated. That's where the Z06 steps in with about 650 horsepower. Still not swaying you? Well, then there's the subject of this piece, the ZR1. Equipped with 755 ponies, we're pretty sure this is adequate power that will get any enthusiast's blood pumping.

Although the ZR1 was announced a couple weeks ago, it wasn't seen in the flesh until the LA Show. Needless to say, our very own Agent 001 was on the scene to snap the most powerful Corvette ever top to bottom. Have a peek and let us know what you think.

Note: This is the first time the convertible and low spoiler have been seen completely uncovered and top down.
