One of the year's most eagerly awaited launches comes in form of a big, badass truck. That would be the Ford F-150 Raptor. Essentially a category creator, the Raptor is one of those vehicles that connected with the market straight away.

People can't get enough of them. And if you need any further proof of its success note what General Motors and RAM are doing.

Now with the second-gen Raptor around the corner for the 2017 model year, it is expected to replicate the original's success. There's just one catch: It will come equipped with a six-cylinder motor.

This, of course, bummed people out. A truck with an eight just seems so RIGHT! Well, motor heads, do not be too alarmed. That's because all-new leaked documentation points to a Raptor that will be producing 450 horsepower and 510 lb.-ft. of torque via a 3.5-liter six-cylinder EcoBoost.

Having trouble swallowing this news? See the image that shook Ford's world — thank you curious Ford salesperson who stumbled upon this and posted it. Apparently after making some waves Ford's internal team scrubbed the data from this page. Clearly, it's the real deal.
