Although Playboy isn't exactly known for its automotive section as much as it's known for getting actresses to strut their stuff, they're still doing it!

2010's pick was the Porsche Panamera and last year's pick was the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG "Gullwing." In my eyes, that means the magazine with bare-chested ladies seems to be onto something.

This year's big-time winner was the souped up 2012 Jaguar XKR-S.

Clearly, Playboy has a thing for vehicles that are a bit on the showier side, are powerful and represent the best attributes a brand can bring to the table. Even though the publication has made its top picks for the year, it's still asking for you to VOTE and voice which product you think is the best.

At the time of this story running, the Ford Mustang Boss 302 is leading the pack with the BMW 1M in second. Although the Lamborghini LP 700-4 is in third, it is separated by a HUGE gap.

Make sure to swing by, place your vote and then tell us who YOU think should be taking home the people's vote.

Who could have imagined this scenario? Fiat is expertly driving Chrysler. GM axed Oldsmobile, Pontiac and Saturn and then resurrected its industry-leading styling heritage. Buicks are hot again. Unencumbered by bailout blues, Ford is making the best cars in its history. Surging Korean carmakers Hyundai and Kia are giving the Japanese fits. Indian conglomerate Tata owns Land Rover and Jaguar; both have never been better. Meanwhile, Mercedes-Benz, Audi and BMC are locked in a battle for luxocar supremacy. There is bad news. Volvo is struggling, as is Mitsubishi, and Saab is pretty much sunk. But all in all, the car biz is hammering forward, and fun driving is still PC. PLAYBOY has piloted everything new on four wheels. Here are our picks for 2012.
