At last, the first of the MINI Es that is part of the testing program of BMW have already arrived in the US and are now being prepped for delivery to those who were registered as testers.
There are reports saying that the cars are being stored in a facility in Central California where the firm makes the finishing touches to prior to the tests. Earlier, BMW announced that they will bring a number of MINI Es in the US to be employed in typical street environments. A ten-unit fleet will be made available in New York City, and the same also being readied for other location around the globe including London and Berlin. BMW is thrilled about the prospect of developing this latest form of sustainable mobility. PlaNYC initiative of Mayor Bloomberg has exhibited a sharp understanding of the importance of sustainability which BMW shares. BMW claims that the MINI E zero-emission is just the first step toward a more sustainable transport system.
