It's a bit funny. The BIG news at the 2019 Detroit Auto Show (NAIAS) was the reveal of the Toyota Supra. Not only was the reveal mostly botched by both internal and external leaks of the 2020 Supra, there's something "off" about it in this humble writer's opinion. It's not really much of a Toyota, honestly.CES Detroit Auto Show Photo Gallery**READ the 2020 Lexus RC F press release HERE!The Lexus RC F, on the other hand, is the real McCoy. Much like the LFA supercar, the RC F was done all by Toyota and Lexus. There's no borrowed parts from another manufacturer, for instance. While the RC F has been a bit too hefty and a bit too slow when compared to the likes of the Audi RS5, BMW M4 and Mercedes-AMG C63 you can't say it isn't an authentic Toyota product. And damn its V8 sounds good when you get on the throttle. For 2020 there's been some minor tweaks to the exterior and interior. All-new for 2020 is the all-new Track Edition, which we're sure is going to cost a pretty penny given that a carbon ceramic big brake kit is part of the deal. Having said all of that, get a look at the 2020 RC F in these photos brought to you by AutoSpies.com!CES Detroit Auto Show Photo Gallery

Just because the hood is made of carbon fibre you don't have to have it exposed under clear coat. Doing the roof that way as an option is a thing. The hood, not so much. Get rid of the rear wing as well. Find another option that blends in better with the style of the car.— CANADIANCOMMENTS (View Profile)

Clear coat is practical, and suitable for this 'track-edition', which is not a GT3/4 car anyway. What seems odd is the trunk is not made of CF, as that'll help tying the front all the way to the back visually.— dlin (View Profile)

The RCF is a wonderful car. It's a Lexus Mustang and that's a very good thing.— MDarringer (View Profile)

Well, we agree on one thing at least!I really enjoyed my time with the RC F but I actually would prefer the GS F over it.— Agent00R (View Profile)

Just by adding ceramic brakes, carbon fiber parts, and louder exhaust doesn’t make it more track worthy. Not to mention this will bring the already not selling RCF closer or over $100k... At that point, I’d will take a GTR.I think a Sienna Track Edition (or TRD Pro) will be more interesting and profitable!— wilfred (View Profile)

Yep! as ancient as the GTR it will still obliterate this on and off the track. I would take the GTR too.— USNA1999 (View Profile)
