While we're still scratching our heads trying to figure out why, exactly, GAC Group decided to bring itself overseas to display three products at the 2015 Detroit Motor Show (NAIAS), we do have one interesting point to bring up. One of the vehicles it displayed didn't look too bad.

Seriously!

Called the GS6 Limited, it looks like a Volkswagen CC, an Opel and a Kia that procreated. Clearly, it has a sporty orientation.

Now where you may actually be impressed is in the cockpit. That's because the initial quality looks on par with the likes of Hyundai and Kia. Check out the center stack with large infotainment display, the leather seats with Alcantara portions to hold passengers in place and the contrasting red stitching.

While this isn't completely uncommon in today's modern rides, it doesn't look half bad — honestly.

All that said, I am a bit curious: Would YOU ever give a Chinese-made product a thought if you were in-market for an all-new ride? Assume it has the same initial quality as what is pictured below.
